Nas Daily’s Net Worth: How Much Money Can You Make From a 1-Minute Video?

The unique story of a Facebook-First Creator

Nuseir Yassin, founder and CEO of Nas Daily, has grown to be one of the most influential content creators on social media. With over 44 million followers across his social media channels, in 13 languages, Nas Daily’s net worth is estimated to be $5 million.

Nas Daily Net Worth as of 2021:
$5 MILLION

The “Nas Daily” brand was created when Nuseir embarked on a journey to produce and share 1,000, 1-minute videos in 1,000 days on Facebook. His only mission: to share incredible stories about people from all corners of the world. “Nas” actually means “people” in Arabic, because people are at the core of his global mission.

But his online success (or net worth) didn’t shoot up overnight. The reality is that he didn’t make any money in the first 500 days. You only have to watch a handful of these videos to realize that it took traveling to many countries and thousands of hours to get himself to where he is today.

And now, we’re going to share the insider scoop on how Nas Daily did it.

Nas Daily Net Worth

Who Is Nuseir Yassin?

Nuseir is a 29-year-old Palestinian-Israeli vlogger and CEO of Nas Academy – our company! (Don’t worry, we won’t be holding back any of our research into how much money he makes.)

Nuseir Yassin

Growing up in Israel, Nuseir wasn’t always the outgoing, confident personality that we have come to know on social media.

But he was always hungry to travel, explore, and learn all he could about the world.

At age 19, Nuseir made the decision to move to America and go to school at Harvard University. He wanted to get the prestigious, quality education that only an Ivy League school like Harvard could offer. And after securing a full scholarship from the university, he packed his bags and flew to Massachusetts

He graduated in 2014 with his degree in economics, only to later abandon that plan by becoming a digital content creator. But right after graduating, he landed a 6-figure job at Venmo working as a software engineer.

From the outside looking in, this seemed like the type of success that most people strive their entire lives to achieve. Yet, he knew in his heart that there was something missing.

Nuseir had everything that one supposedly needs to have “made it” in life – even by his own past standards.

He was living in New York City, earning $120,000 a year, and enjoying a good work-life balance. Although it’s hard to imagine anyone complaining about that lifestyle, there was still something very important lacking in his life: meaning.

The picture-perfect corporate job was simply not enough.

So, in April of 2016, after nearly 2 years at Venmo and a $60,000 safety net in the bank, Nuseir made the bold decision to quit his job. He bought himself a camera, got on a plane to Kenya, and didn’t look back.

This is when Nas Daily committed to posting 1,000 videos in 1,000 days on Facebook. That meant writing, shooting, and editing one video every single day.

Although he had no prior training or qualifications in video production, he had a camera, $60,000 in savings, and a dream to change the world. Turns out that was all he needed – along with the realization that he was 32% done with life, according to the average male lifespan in the US. (In case you never knew what his shirts meant…)

How Did Nas Daily Get Started?

Nas Daily’s net worth story isn’t one of steady growth. In fact, it’s the complete opposite.

Nuseir didn’t achieve overnight success or hit that instantaneous spike in either net worth or followers that you might have seen with other social media influencers.

For the first 500 days of Nuseir’s creator journey, Facebook videos weren’t able to be monetized. In other words, half of Nas Daily’s journey generated $0 in income. Nuseir had to keep the company going by investing his entire life savings.

Everything was banked on Nas Daily’s success.

Slowly but surely, Nuseir started breaking even once he took on side gigs such consulting and video gigs. These side hustles brought in around $2,000-$3,000 a month, which was barely enough money to live on and run a company with – but he made it work.

And then, one day, Facebook enabled monetization

From there, Nas Daily officially took off.

How Nas Daily Started Earning Money

It was day 609 when, overnight, the Nas Daily company went from racking up 100,000 views to a whopping 1 million views on Facebook.

And the same thing happened again the next day. And the day after that.

At this point, it was 2017 and Nas Daily had gathered about 5 million followers. They were generating a monthly income of $15,000, coming from two main sources: Facebook ads ($10,000) and speaking engagements ($5,000).

Nuseir Yassin was traveling the world, creating content, and doing what he loved – all while generating a monthly revenue stream that rivaled his corporate salary. The more he created Facebook videos, the more he was approached to do public speaking gigs. And over time, brands who wanted to create videos just like Nas Daily started approaching them for help.

With time, Nas Daily’s net worth started growing. His income started averaging $20,000-$25,000 a month from Facebook, and around $15,000 from speaking gigs and brand deals – totalling up to an average monthly income of around $40,000 before the 1,000 days were up

And then, finally, on January 5, 2019, Nuseir finished his 1,000 day journey – after 65 countries, 1,000 video uploads, and too many sleepless nights to count.

Nas Daily had become 10 million followers strong. And by the final day, Nuseir’s personal net worth was estimated to be $900,000.

Launching Nas Studios

When Nas Daily’s 1,000-day journey came to an end, Nas Studios began.

In February of 2019, Nas Daily officially started providing boutique video production services to brands under the Nas Studios company. Nuseir started scaling up their operations, hiring employees and building a team of talented creators to produce branded videos. They charged anywhere between $10,000-$70,000 per project.

Before they knew it, Nas Studios was generating $100,000 a month gross profit, with around $40,000 in costs – making a monthly net profit of $60,000.

Nas Studios has gone on to collaborate with big name celebrities like Steve Harvey and other notable clients that include the UAE Government, Facebook, Agoda, and many more.

Nas Daily Net Worth & Income: Where Is He Now?

Nuseir Yassin’s net worth is estimated to have grown to $5 million since he started Nas Daily. The company has also expanded beyond Facebook to YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. They have continued to make money from various revenue sources, including brand deals, speaking engagements, Nas Studios services, ads, and courses hosted at none other than Nas Academy.

Nas Academy $11M raising
Nas Academy is a technology startup, founded by Nuseir. This business venture is all about teaching creators just like him how to make a sustainable living doing what they love to do most. The potential revenue from education is so promising that Nuseir managed to raise $11 million in Series A Funding – as reported by TechCrunch.

Tapping into the creator economy is by all indications a smart move, and it’s sure to grow Nuseir’s net worth even further in the near future.

Through both Nas Daily and Nas Academy, Nuseir has amassed over 44 million followers across social media. The Nas Daily Facebook Page has over 20 million followers, his Instagram is nearing 3 million followers, and on YouTube, Nas Daily has just surpassed 4 million subscribers.

As a result, Nas Daily is estimated to be averaging a total of $400,000-$500,000 in monthly revenue in 2021 – with around $100,000 coming from ads and $300,000 from projects.

Nas Daily now averages around 500 million views a month, in multiple different languages. But Nas Daily isn’t just one page – it’s 16 pages. Talk about an online presence!

Part of what has allowed Nas Daily’s popularity and net worth to grow, is through using Nas Global. Nas Global allows Nas Daily to be translated into 13 different languages and, therefore, shared on over 16 different social media accounts that can each be localized and better monetized. This brilliant and unique strategy ensures that Nas Daily’s content as well as Nas Academy’s resources can stretch far beyond any real-world barrier.

Where Does He Spend This Income?

The internet star spends his income from Nas Daily in a variety of different ways, but the vast majority goes back into building his companies: Nas Daily and Nas Academy.

He is also an active Angel Investors in startups such as Trykarat.com, Plantish, Clickto Academy, and Maven, or publicly listed stocks such as PayPal, Airbnb, and Pfizer.

Currently, he is investing a lot of money into the one thing that makes Nas Academy what it is: people. His company is rapidly expanding and hiring more creators and tech developers to join their team of 110 people at Nas Studios and Nas Academy.

What Is Nas Academy?

Nas Academy Team

In 2020, Nuseir launched Nas Academy: A MasterClass for Creators. The idea is to help every creator in the world become a teacher using their technology and platform.

Now, he is committed to making high-quality education accessible to everybody around the world.

And, most importantly, he wants his passion for bringing people together, through content creation, to live on for years to come – long after he’s gone.

I have this fear that if I die today, the next day everything stops. If my work consists of making one-minute videos, the minute I die, my project dies with me. The point of starting a business is not to make money, but to find 100 or 1,000 people who want to build this with me so Nas Daily outlives all of our lives combined.

It certainly helps that Nas Academy raised $11 million in funding which they can now put towards adding more people to their team of 86, and recruit talented, top-tier creators to teach courses on their platform.

Nuseir has even launched his own courses under the Nuseir Yassin Academy – where he teaches everything he knows about becoming a creator on Facebook, mastering the art of storytelling, and producing high-quality videos in a short amount of time.

Nuseir Yassin academy

And he’s made an estimated $1.5 million revenue from the Nuseir Yassin Academy since it launched just 18 months ago. That’s over $100,000 in monthly revenue from education.

Half of that estimated revenue is coming from course purchases by eager creators, while the other half is coming from brands, companies, and governments who want to upskill their employees or citizens.

Nuseir Yassin and the Nas Daily team are proof that going from creator to educator can increase your income by six figures on a monthly basis. Not to mention, Nuseir also has an ownership stake in Nas Academy itself, landing somewhere in the millions – although this isn’t a liquid asset so we didn’t include it in our calculation.

As time goes on, and Nuseir’s engagement within the creator economy evolves and grows, you can be sure to expect his net worth will grow too.

This journey brought him some of his best friends to date, it even brought him his partner, Alyne Tamir (from Dear Alyne Academy!). Ultimately, his persistence to succeed brought him precisely what he wasn’t getting as a software engineer at Venmo.

And remember: Nuseir Yassin’s net worth is not a story about fortune or fame.

It’s a story about somebody who wanted to change the world, and went for it. And proved along the way that anybody can do it – no matter your background. And with Nas Academy, we hope to prove that to each and every creator who joins us.

Nuseir was a scholar turned multi-millionaire.

A software engineer turned vlogger.

A shy kid, who became an inspirational story for so many people in all corners of the world. And at Nas Academy, you’ll see that you can do the same.
